Hot Bikram Yoga in Reston

While many have sought relief from sweltering summer temperatures, the students are committed and hold out to the Bikram Yoga Reston to take a 90 minute class 105-degree room.

Rima Hinnawi, Bikram yoga instructor and studio owner Reston, said students who intended to come to practice Bikram method even though the conditions for a recovery, almost magical, the sequence of pose that work every system in the body. Bikram Yoga Reston offers 47 classes a week rise.

Hinnawi said he had tried all kinds of sports and different types of yoga, but Bikram yoga is the first he went to practice every day.

Hinnawi said Bikram yoga, Bikram Choudhury was designed by, is changing, due to rid the body from the inside out.

Bikram instructors complete 500 + hours of training in the methods. Each class begins with two breathing exercises, which help students warm up and increase lung capacity, followed by 26 postures which are always followed in the same order. Posture is generally repeated twice during the class.

The high temperature is very important to Bikram, Hinnawi said, because it helps with the overall transformation that occurred during the poses, and allows students to go deeper and safer into the pose.

He gave a piece of steel work analogy: if you work with it in a cold environment, it may break. Indoor heat can be changed and molded. If a student tries to pose in an air conditioned, they can much more easily hurt themselves.

If students are faithfully and consistently come to class, they will see their bodies better, Hinnawi said. Poses to help different systems and the points on the body such as nervous system and spine. This leads to a healthy mind and body, more focus, and improved circulation.

"It's about going deep within," he said.

Key elements to recognize the benefits of the precision, consistency, and intensity.

"Some people give up too soon, you just have to work at it," said Hinnawi.

Reston resident Sonja Wythe, he initially thought Bikram yoga would be a waste of time, but he soon discovered it was the exercise that delivered the biggest bang for her money. He says he has seen an increase in scoliosis, and is a trimmer now than he was before two children were born.

"This is a practice that comes out of this world," he said. "I can only do this exercise one other than the 18 I feel happy after class  ..."
